Cosy Cottage is a beautifully presented former stable cottage set just moments from Embo’s wide sandy beach, a short distance north of Dornoch.

Sleeping up to three guests, the cottage offers an intimate and characterful Highland stay, with exposed beams, wooden floors and a light-filled open-plan living space. Designed for relaxed coastal living, the interiors combine comfort with individuality, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout.

The double bedroom is set within a charming gallery space above the main living area, while a single bedroom and shower room are located on the ground floor. From the cottage, guests can hear the sea at night and enjoy open coastal walks just minutes from the door.

Outside, a sheltered seating and dining hut provides a comfortable space to relax in all weathers — an inviting spot to unwind after a beach walk or a day exploring Dornoch and the surrounding Highlands. Private parking is available and the cottage is dog friendly.
