This is your chance to explore over 800 years of local history. Start your adventure with an expert-led, 30-minute guided tour of the stunning Dornoch Cathedral, a true Highland architectural gem. After soaking in the history of the cathedral, head over to the Historylinks Museum to dive deeper into the fascinating stories of Dornoch and it’s surrounding Sutherland landscape.

Inclusive Ticket: £10 Adults | £3 Children (under 10s are free)

  • Dornoch Cathedral Tour:
    • Tours start at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
    • Please register 10 minutes before your tour begins.
  • Historylinks Museum Entry:
    • Open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase at both the Dornoch Cathedral and the Historylinks Museum.

Reach for the Sky: Climb the Cathedral Tower

For an extra dose of adventure and breathtaking views, why not add a climb up the Cathedral Tower? This optional tour offers an incredible panorama of Dornoch, with views stretching from Portmahomack to Ben Bhraggie. On the first floor, you’ll also get to see the St Gilbert’s Exhibition.

Tickets: £5 Adults | £3 Children (height restrictions apply)

  • Tower Tours:
    • Tours run from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
    • New groups start every 15 minutes.
    • Please register 10 minutes before your desired start time.
