Situated on a working farm, just three miles from Dornoch, Proncy Farm Chalet offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests in one king and two single bedrooms.
Easily accessed from the A9 on the popular NC500 route, the chalet is a fantastic base for exploring the Highlands including Dornoch’s long sandy beaches, castles, mountains and numerous golf courses.
The Space
The chalet is situated on an elevated position on the peaceful edge of the farm, with views in all directions. It has recently been refurbished and is cosy and bright with double glazing, oil central heating and a log burner – sticks are provided. There’s a modern, fully-fitted kitchen with gloss white cabinets, plus a separate dining area for family meals.
Outside there is plenty space to relax, with an enclosed rear garden. You’re not overlooked, so privacy is assured. You also have access to a lockable shed to store bikes or any equipment
Guests are welcome to walk around the farm, into the woods, past lovely ponds – just be aware of livestock.

Other Things to Note
Proncy Farm has been in the family for over 100 years and has an interesting old castle site at top of the property. The farm is renowned for its sheepdogs, which have been at one time exported to Australia, and the story embroidered into the Scottish mosaic made for the Millennium celebrations. With easy access to beaches and mountains its a perfect base for all activities including world class golf courses, fishing, bird watching and sightseeing. Many varieties of birds and wildflowers can be seen around chalet site including sea eagles, buzzards, red kites, swifts and swallows.
