Dornoch Tidy: Pilot Crowdfunding Event for We Are Dornoch
We Are Dornoch is a new, community-powered crowdfunding campaign to help care for and improve the town we love. It’s about doing visible things that make a big difference — from signage and storytelling trails, to lights, planters, and pop-up events.
This isn’t about waiting for someone else to act. It’s about locals, businesses, and visitors coming together to fund and deliver projects that show just how much we care.
We’re starting small, but the vision is big — and you can be part of it.
Why It Matters
We all want Dornoch to feel welcoming, looked-after, and full of life — not just during the summer, but all year round.
By raising money and organising community action, we can keep our town beautiful, vibrant, and full of charm — for residents and visitors alike.
Dornoch Tidy – Tuesday 5th August
Let’s tidy up the town together and raise money at the same time!
We are using the occasion of the next Town Tidy to trial our “We Are Dornoch” crowdfunding effort.
Whether you’re a local, a business owner, or just visiting, come lend a hand — or donate to support the cause.

- Time: 18:30 – 20:00
- Meeting Point: Outside the Carnegie Courthouse
- We Provide: Bags, litter pickers
- Please Take: Gloves, gardening equipment, brushes
- Afterwards: Tea, coffee & tray bakes for volunteers at the Social Club
