Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • prevent unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying, and victimisation
  • support an inclusive and welcoming town centre environment
  • encourage fair and transparent decision-making.

Scope

This policy applies to all areas of the BID’s operations, including:

Board of Directors

The Board is responsible for:

  • ensuring decisions are made fairly and transparently.

Staff and Representatives

All individuals acting on behalf of the BID are expected to:

  • uphold the principles of this policy
  • treat others respectfully
  • report inappropriate behaviour or discrimination.

Monitoring and Review

This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and compliant with current legislation and best practice.
